More House Hunting…

Oh my gosh! We’ve now been in our 1 week rental for almost 2 weeks and still haven’t decided on a house yet. This is so crazy. Life is way slower here, which I love in every way except when I’m house hunting. The realtor we have doesn’t keep commitments and doesn’t come when she says and doesn’t spend the whole day with us looking so it’s been very unproductive and we’re so new here that I don’t feel like we can switch now. I love her when we have her attention but it’s really hard to get.

We know we want 3-4 bedrooms and really want to live inAguadilla or Isabela. We really like the proximity to beaches in these areas and the vibe in these places. Aguadilla seems more central to shops and the mall and Crash Boat Beach, which we love. Isabela is a total surf town and we love that area too. People seem nice and welcoming in either place. Hmmm What to do?! I feel like if it was just Ryan and I I’d relax a bit but we’ve got to get these kids settled in! Here are some beauties we looked at today.

This one was for sale for less than $100,000. Very tempting because of the floor plan and yard but being that we’ve only been here for a few days, I’m not ready to jump into buying just yet.

These are all fruit trees. Pana, avocado and mango.

My great grandma would love it in here. 🙂

We’ve found 1 that might work. (None of these BTW) I’ll keep you posted. All stress aside … one of the houses we looked at had a huge avocado tree that the boys climbed to pick from. It was awesome! I think that’s just the thing my kids should be doing today. Picking fruit by climbing up a huge tree. Ya, this is the good life!
