Las Paylas – Natural Water Slides

We finally went to the natural water slides this weekend! My kids have been wanting to check this out for awhile. I’m so glad we did! I think this is going to go on our, “visit often” list!

It was absolutely beautiful!

We got out there around 1:00 on a Saturday and it was crowded but I’ve decided that that’s part of the fun because when it’s crowded it means cheering, music and awesome people to meet.

These are fast! (Slow Motion)

This is a little slide above the longer one.

Half the fun is watching the local kids cruise down these over and over again!

A little ways down from the slides is a little pool with a rope swing! Rope swings are awesome! If I ever live by a lake we’ll definitely have a rope swing!!

We loved this! It was easy to get to. The kids had a ton of fun despite a few bumps and bruises from the slide (which they didn’t even notice until the next day). Another great day in Puerto Rico!

Last, but definitely not least, This is Carlos. He’s the awesome guy who lets you either park ($5) or walk through (.50/person) his property to get to the river. He’s created a nice pathway to get down. You can also use his bathroom for $.25. It’s clean and easy to get to.

When you’re driving you’ll see a small sign on a chain link fence in front of a green house. The fence will be open if there’s room to park. If the lot is full, the fence will be open enough for you to walk through. Carlos is usually there but if he isn’t for some reason you can pay him on the way out. Have fun!
