Limbo was so nice! I didn’t know what I was in for at that point. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to write at all until now and we have peen in Puerto Rico for 2 days.

Just to catch you up on the packing in case you’re reading this as you prepare for your own adventure.

There comes a point that everything you’re trying to sell that won’t sell goes to charity. For us it was the day before the move.

I organized the house more easily as soon as I freed up the garage by selling the dirt bikes and parking the car in the driveway.

The garage was broken into 2 sections: Things going to storage (boxed and ready things only) When they were ready to go I moved them to a corner in the garage. The other side was for things that were going to Charity or things that were still for sale. This was nice because when people came to buy something they would often notice that we were moving and ask, “Do you have anything else for sale?” This way I could easily show them what else was available while keeping them and the stuff out of my house.

The third area was the office and living room where we put anything that we wanted to or needed to take to Puerto Rico. This is the stuff that got dealt with last.

We went room to room tying up all of the loose ends, cleaning them, and then closing the door.

Saturday morning our friends and family came tout everything in a moving truck to take to storage.

After all of that was gone we loaded up the car a couple of times with things for donating.

When all of that was gone, we started packing for Puerto Rico. It’s exhausting just reading this huh?! It’s really a ton of work but it’s TOTALLY worth it!
