8:00am Last night, she finally settled down and stabilized. She still has a long way to go and there still may be some major hurdles for her to overcome, but this morning she is good. She looks so much better today and she just opened her eyes. I never thought I would be so grateful for so many tiny little things.
We had so much support yesterday I can hardly express how much we appreciate it. We felt the love and support of everyone around us, we had the support of doctors, nurses, technicians and more. We had the support of our friends and family and even from many people we don’t even know.
Even though there were moments when I wanted to scream every curse word in the book, I felt at peace leaving things in the Lords hands. We were able to go home and spend some time with family and get a decent night sleep.
11:00 am Not much change. They have been working on getting her on lower doses of medication and it looks like she is staying pretty stable.
4:00pm Still fairly stable. Way better than yesterday. She’s just taking her time.
8:00pm Overall a good day. She is still having lots of trouble with things but on the positive side, they were able to ween her from the blood pressure medications today and they started giving her nutrition again through the feeding tube.These are small steps but good ones. Hoping for a good night.
