First Day in Puerto Rico

Right when we got into town we went straight to stay with our friends, the Boucher’s who are mission Presidents for the LDS church. They were AMAZING! They helped us get all of our bags and gave a ride to their beautiful home. They even made us lunch which was better then they’ll  ever know because my kids are feeling a little nervous. It was just a little piece of home in a place that’s so new to them. Thank you Bouchers! We will have to get a picture with them soon.  This is Ashley curled up in their bed. 🙂 Doesn’t she look comfy? She was actually feeling really sick. She didn’t love missing so much sleep but was better in just a few minutes.

After lunch we headed to the beach because duh! We love the beach and couldn’t wait to dig our feet into the warm sand. We went to a beach called, Isla Verde. It wasn’t crowded at all and the water was so warm we couldn’t believe it. I mean, we a bunch of California go-ers and just didn’t know how great the warm water would be.
