So medically this was probably not the best day. The docs started her on the medication that has a small chance of helping. Her fluid is still draining, although I think it’s a little less, the surgeon wasn’t impressed. Tomorrow we’re hoping for less fluid and a great chest X-ray.
On the other hand … It was such a great day because I got to hold Grace for a long time. I loved holding her as she slipped into a really deep sleep and sunk down into her blanket with her mouth wide open. It’s so nice to hold her! I took a picture. She doesn’t look super healthy and it’s not the best photography but I just wanted to remember it. I’ll post it next.
