Ok seriously?! I was just feeling a little more settled when the lady, at the dealership, who sold us our car called. I assumed it was because all of the paper work was finished and she was going to give the title to us. It wasn’t.
She had me go in because the guy who owned the car didn’t pay the tickets, (18 of them) which they told us was taken care of before we bought it, BTW. So, we can’t drive our car until it’s taken at of. They explained that they would give us a mini-van to use for a week until they work it out.
Now, I’m picturing a nice mini-van. You know, the type that you rent from a car rental company. I was wrong again. I told you a couple of posts ago that the car we bought isn’t very nice but compared to the one they are so generously :/ letting us borrow our van looks, smells and drives like a dream!
Ok, I’m done complaining. On the bright side, we did stop to get some yummy shakes after this fiasco. We also met a nice couple who helped us learn some new spanish words.
After a cool swim we have recovered and look forward to next week when we get our car back and feel a little more settled. We are definitly learning a lot here!
