Fresh Mahi Mahi

Our friend, a fisherman, in Rincon, brought us this awesome fish! He caught it Saturday and we ate it Sunday. We’re newbies at fileting fish but Ryan and our friend, Spencer, did a pretty good job.

They grilled it topped with a yummy cilantro lime sauce. I’m not a big fish fan but I loved this! 2 out of 4 kids liked it too.

Cilantro Lime Sauce Recipe:

1 Handful of Finely Chopped Cilantro

2 Tablespoons Butter

1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic

1 Lime

1 Teaspoon Salt

Mix together and spread on fish before grilling. We wrapped the fish in foil before grilling.

With a side salad, sautéed veggies, rice and beans, this was the perfect meal!
